Meeting second Wednesday of the month at Green Brook Town Hall
The Green Brook Recreation Committee is a volunteer organization committed to improving the quality and availability of recreational opportunities for all residents of Green Brook Township. We proudly offer sporting and non-sporting recreational opportunities for residents of all ages. We see no limit in what we are willing to offer. If you have an idea, join us and tell us about it.
Below is a sampling of events and activities sponsored or supported by the Recreation Committee:
- Basketball— Open gym, Clinics for grades 1-8, League for grades 1-8,
Travel teams for grades 3-8 - Volleyball Clinics for grade 3-8
- Oktoberfest – Food, beverages and Fun, plenty of pumpkin-related fun
- Somerset County Therapeutic Rec
- Dog Park Halloween Costume Contest and Santa Paws (pictures w/ Santa)
- Tree Lighting, the first Friday in December
We also participate in programs with other local community groups such as:
- Green Brook PTO Dances
- Green Brook PTO Trunk or Treat
We cross-honor participation in many programs with neighboring communities Warren, Watchung and Long Hill.
