The Green Brook Recreation Committee is a volunteer organization committed to improving the quality and availability of recreational opportunities for all residents of Green Brook Township.

 

We proudly offer sporting and non-sporting recreational opportunities for residents of all ages.  We see no limit in what we are willing to offer to the community.  If you have an idea, join us and tell us about it.

Below is a sampling of events and activities sponsored by the Recreation Committee:

· Basketball— Open gym, Clinics for grades 1-8, League for grades 1-8, Travel teams for grades 4-8, Great Green Brook Shoot Out Tournament held in February

· Bus trips—Atlantic City, Dinner Cruise, Little League World Series, New York Yankees, Off-Broadway show, Skiing,

· Fast Pitch Softball—Grades 3-8

· Green Brook Volunteer Day

· Halloween Parade

· Hockey Club

· Rec Day in September

· Somerset Patriots

· Summer Fun in June and July

· Somerset County Therapeutic Rec

· Tree Lighting in December

· Volleyball

 

We also participate in programs with other local community groups such as:

· Green Brook Education Foundation

·       Green Brook PTO Dances

SNOWED OUT—Saturday Morning Rec Basketball is cancelled for Saturday, December 20, due to the weather.  Play will resume on January 10.  For teams playing games, we will play the January 10 game schedule and times.
